My path to real estate began when I started searching for my first home. I naively thought, given my educational & professional accomplishments, that this would be a smooth process. But, I was quickly humbled when I started learning the price of homes in southern California. I grew more frustrated and discouraged when I learned about downpayment expectations, private mortgage insurance, and interest rates—but I became more determined to educate myself on the best moves to make when purchasing real estate—starting with getting my real estate license.
